“Light Works” is out now on all online platforms!

It’s a crossover program, that combines renaissance music with jazz and improvised music. It features my compositions and arrangements of vocal works by the great renaissance composers, such as Johannes Ockeghem and Josquin des Prez! The whole project is a collaboration between Owls and the Austrian vocal ensemble Company of Music!

At the end of November I will be heading to Norway for concerts with the impressive sampling artist John Derek Bishop. We will be playing five live shows and recording parts of our forthcoming album. I'm really looking forward to continuing this inspiring collaboration in Norway and working on the new album.

We recorded a live session at ORF Radiokulturhaus Vienna as part of the Ö1 Kunstsonntag! The first video features “Moss & Stone”, a composition, that ist also part of our second album “Wendolins Monocle”.

I‘m very happy to announce the premiere of a collaboration with Norwegian electronic musician and live sampling artist John Derek Bishop. We are going to play intimate duo music between Jazz, Ambient and Avantgarde.

Happy to announce the first confirmed concerts of our India-Tour with Owls! We are going to play concerts at New Delhi and Mumbai. More concerts to be announced in spring. Stay tuned!

Going to be part of the Jury for the 2023 edition of “podium jazz.pop.rock …”, an Austrian youth competition in popular music. I’m looking forward to hearing all these young artists performing!

A documentary about our performance together with Owls, Company of Music and the dutch visual artist Roos van Haaften was filmed at the festival Montforter Zwischentöne. While Roos created impressive images of light and shadow in real time, we played music by the great Renaissance composers and myself.

I feel honored to announce the release of the new Owls album “Wendolins Monocle”. Besides the trio it features great guests: Klaus Haberl (speech), Herbert Walser-Breuß (trumpet, cornet, fx) and Veronika Morscher (vocals). I also did a lot of sound design and electronics on that including tape and modular sounds. You can already pre-listen to some tracks on Bandcamp. The whole album will be released by Intersections on September 18th - stay tuned!
