Simon Oberleitner has been teaching at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2021. In addition to applied piano playing and song accompaniment, his teaching activities especially focus on improvisation, composition, arrangement, self-accompanied singing and how to lead music-making processes from the piano. His pedagogical activities also include the following areas:

• Workshops and piano training courses for teachers (e.g. "Modern Piano Practice" - self-confident on the keys)

• Conception and participation in music education projects (e.g. "Jazz doesn't sound like that?!", "Sing Along", "Urban Voice Club")

• Instrumental lessons and coaching for piano, singing, music theory/composition and electronics

• Composition of student literature
